Bellas Truck Raising Money

The Twilight Parents Examiner has an interview with the owner of Bella’s truck from the Twilight movie.
“Sterling Biegart fits the image of a typical seventeen year old. She’s been involved in musical theater since she was six, she’s a responsible babysitter, and she has her college sights set on Yale or Julliard. But truthfully, she’s actually an old soul wrapped up in a Bella-aged body. And she’s about the luckiest girl around.
Sterling is the proud owner of Bella’s truck.”

Twilight Makeup Hits The Stores

What Robert Pattinson is to Hollywood, “Twilight Beauty” will be to the makeup world. In other words, brace yourself for mass hysteria.
Stephenie Meyer’s book series and the “Twilight” film saga have inspired a range of beauty products.

You were probably as enraptured as I was by the vampires’ sparkly skin, flushed cheeks and juicy lips (especially Edward Cullen’s).
So it’s beyond fitting — and frankly, brilliant — that the phenomenon has spawned Twilight Beauty, which consists of two collections.
Creating the movie-tied makeup is Cristina Bartolucci, famous for her innovative beauty brand, DuWop. (Lip Venom ring a bell?)
Word is there will be a special “Twilight” edition of the cult-favorite lip plumper with one half of the tube’s vial’s contents resembling blood.
Better yet, the cast apparently wears the makeup in the second movie installment: “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” out November 20.

There’s two collections, LunaTwilight and Volturi, I’ll hit you with the highlights.

LunaTwilight is the more luxurious of the two offerings — the packaging is heartbreakingly gorgeous and the formulas are more
sophisticated than the alternate collection.
I hate to tease you with some of the the product names before they’re available, but let’s be honest, I can’t help myself and you can’t wait: “First Light Body Glow,” “Mortal Glow Blushing Creme” and Color Palettes in “Bella,” “Rosalie,” “Alice” and “Victoria.” (I can’t wait to see “Alice” — she was my favorite.)Volturi, the other Twilight Beauty collection, will strike a chord with those who’ve read the book. The Volturi is the most feared and powerful coven of vampires, and that same dark, exciting sensibility can be felt in its products.
The Volturi family crest appears on the packaging and some standouts include “Deity Body Lotion,” “Immortal Body Shimmer” and “Crown Mascara” (shown left).Everything I’ve seen can only be described as elegant and wicked.Twilight Beauty will be available on its own site: TwilightBeauty.com, which isn’t live yet and an official launch date for the products has not been announced (though, it looks like it will be timed around the movie’s release), so stay tuned.

Twilight Cast Like Family.

Peter Facinelli has said it's great being back with the Twilight cast because he sees them as "family".
The actor is reprising the role of Dr Carlisle Cullen in New Moon, the sequel to the vampire flick, and said "it was a lot of fun rejoining with the cast - it was like we hadn't even missed a day".

Peter, who stars alongside Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in the films, went on: "It's really interesting because it's always been like a family."

He said: "You put the make-up on, you put the contact lenses in, you look in the mirror. There's the character. We have different contact lenses that are going to 'pop' a little bit more"

Peter also revealed he's set to make the third film in the series.

"Eclipse we're shooting in the fall," he said. "If the fans come out for the second movie and third movie, hopefully we get to shoot the last book and complete the series. That would be phenomenal."

Michea Sheen cast to be Aro.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon is picking up speed with its casting lately. Joining the cast will be Michael Sheen, reports say.

First we saw the addition of Dakota Fanning to the cast list for the role of Jane. Then, the wolfpack and Heidi were announced (actors Bronson Pelletier, Chaske Spencer, Alex Meraz, Kiowa Gordon and Tyson Houseman alongside Taylor Lautner for the wolfpack and Noot Sear for Heidi), then we got wind that Sweeney Todd star Jamie Campbell-Bower would become Caius in the Twilight series films, and now we can
add Michael Sheen to the list for the part of Aro, also a Volturi coven member who, alongside Caius, reigns over Volterra (and pretty much the vampiric world as we know it in Twilight).

New Moon is set to be released Nov 20 2009.

In New Moon, Sheen will play Aro, the leader of an Italian vampire clan called the Volturi.

Director Chris Weitz confirmed Sheen’s casting to The Mail on Sunday and said he had ‘aggressively’ pursued the actor.
‘Michael’s role is so important because he’s the head of all vampires,’ he said. ‘Aro is, on the surface, a very gracious and friendly vampire, but beneath that he is a tremendous threat.’

Doctor on call.

TWILIGHT actor Peter Facinelli said he'd love to star as Doctor Who to complete his trilogy of recent doctor roles.

Peter said: "I wish we had Doctor Who in America."
"Everyone in UK was raving about it when I came over for the conference. I’d love to watch it. Or even star as the Doctor in a film. I could even get a long stripy scarf!"

The 35-year-old actor also said he was looking forward to playing scatterbrained Dr Cooper in new US show Nurse Jackie but reckons his Twilight alter-ego Carlisle Cullen would be mortified by Dr Cooper's slapdash medical skills.
"Dr Cooper in Nurse Jackie is completely different from Dr Carlisle as Cooper is always on the edge.
"You’d be pretty scared if he were you doctor. One day he could cure you by removing your tumour and then next he could take your ear off.
"He’s pretty neurotic and his mind isn’t on the operation. Carlyle is much more of a rock and much more focussed on his job and would think Cooper is a bumbling mess."

Peter will start filming this week for New Moon.

This is what the UK Marketing Campaign have spruced up for the release of the DVD.

Miley Cyrus Is No RPattz Fan.

Miley Cyrus was talking to Teen Vogue and expressed something we’ve seen a lot of on our boards and blog. She said, “I’m not a huge Rob Pattinson fan. Girls aren’t really in love with Rob; they’re in love with Edward.”
Whats Your Thoughts?

Borders Thanks Twilighters!

This just in from Borders. They wanted to thank Twilighters for coming to their stores to celebrate the DVD and book releases, so this is what they are going to do: Their merchandising team is doing a first in its coupon efforts here: Twilight fan appreciation. What they did was create a coupon that is Buy ANYTHING in the Twilight Saga (books, DVD, apparel, you name it) that is at the store and get the next item 50% OFF. It’s an in-store only coupon (meaning not available for online purchase). It’s the first time any of their items like the sweetheart candy, Edward Cullen doll or t-shirts have ever had a discount.

Media Blvd Interviews Kristen Stewart

Media Blvd have recently interviewed Kristen Stewart on Adventureland and New Moon. Fresh questions, thankfully.

Heres just a little of what she had to say:

"I’m excited to get back into it. We pick up, right where we left off. I’m not creating a new character. I’m not trying to get into a head space, for the first time. And, I’m excited because the story is scaled down a little bit. Edward leaves Bella. The entire first movie is based on them being together, but if you take that away, there’s still a story, which I think is impressive. It’s not just these two characters who make it. She’s solitary. She’s entirely depressed. She matures. Taylor Lautner is still playing Jacob, and that’s the best thing. And, he’s buff too. That’s so important. He’s so good. In this film, we have to have a counterpart that is going to briefly outshine what was so great in the first one, which is a feat, and I think that he’s got it, so I can’t wait to see how he is able to pull Bella out of what he does. She’s like a zombie and he’s like the light. It’s such a tragic story. She’s like, “That’s who I should be with, but I’m totally in love with the guy I shouldn’t be with.” That’s how girls are."
